Bring the kids, for a day’s fishing on America’s First River, the Hudson

Fishing Contest 8:00 am-2:00 pm, Free to all. Bait provided. Rods available on loan. Fishing information and assistance are available on request.

Exhibits - 10:00 am-2:00 pm
As in past years, we have invited leading environmental and conservation groups to join us. This includes The Raritan Bay Keeper, The American Littoral Society, Clean Ocean Action, The Sierra Club, the New Jersey Outdoor Alliance, the Hackensack River Keeper and the East Jersey Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
In addition, we have invited the Coast Guard Aux. to provide information and address questions regarding boating safety.

Plus a Kids Casting Contest, Music from sweeterthanhoneyband
and MORE!

Don’t forget the Friday night HOH 2010 Party open to HRFA members!!!

Start the 2010 fishing season fishing for stripers and other river species after sunset with fellow members. Share in the fun and get in on some greatfood and conversation.

The Ross Dock picnic area and the Englewood Boat Basin are located on the Hudson River Riverfront immediately north of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Call for volunteers!

We need members to help with the kids fishing and casting contest(s). We will also need help with the set up and tear down, in the food tent and general staff
duties during the day.

Share your knowledge and skills with the next generation of fisherpersons.

We have a good time, we give something back to the community and the natural resource we use when fishing. You will find that the returns out weigh the effort.
