  HRFA Host ASAC Surf Fishing Tournament.
November 1st, 2008 in Seaside Park, New Jersey
Sanctioned by the Association of Surf Angling Clubs
Over $2000.00 in prizes!

This event is SOLD OUT  
Pre registered teams who need to enter or change angler names
should make those changes on Friday night 7 - 9 PM
Saturday 6 - 7:30 AM - sign your waiver forms,
pick up beach positions - have a little breakfast and then go fishing!
All the above will take place at the municipal complex.

At least one team member needs to come back and
pick their teams 2 fishing spots in the morning of November 1st.
Bagels & coffee will be served!
If you are new or have questions about the tournament, Friday night registration
is a good time to ask them.  You can also view most of the prizes
Located at the Seaside Park Municipal Complex on Central Ave in Seaside Park, NJ.
4X4 access included with paid registration!

Registration Fees: Teams can have up to six anglers maximum.  You do not need 6 anglers to make a team.
1) Six Person Team - $50.00 thru October 15th.
2) Six Person Team late - $58.00 after October 15th. 
3) Adult Individual - $12.00 - 17 years and up thru October 15th.
4) Adult Individual late - $17.00 - 17 years and up after October 15th.
5)  Children under 17 years old - $5.00 before October 15th.
6)  Children under 17 years old late - $8.00 after October 15th.

Jim Hutchinson, Executive Editor of the Fisherman magazine,
will speak for a brief period at the awards ceremony at
approximately 1:15 PM on 11/1/08
on a topic related to recreational fishing.

Fishing sessions:
7:30am - 9:30am - First fishing session.
9:30am - 10:00am - Switch Positions/1st break
10:00am - noon - Second  and final fishing session 
Awards Ceremony - Immediately after the final fishing session  - Upstairs court room

Prizes awarded to the following categories and more:

First place team $500.00 First place individual $100.00
Second place team $300.00 Second place individual $50.00
Third place team $100.00 Third place individual $25.00

There will also be Door Prizes & Calcuttas for the largest and most fish.

Directions:

Garden State Parkway to exit 82, route 37 East.  Go east for several miles until you travel over a causeway Bridge.  Follow signs for Seaside Park. This takes you directly onto Central Ave South. Bait and tackle shops are located along Central Ave, on the right. Travel South on central Ave until you see a building in the center of the road. This is the Seaside Park Public Safety Building. The Municipal court is on the 2nd Floor. Registration and Ceremony will take place in the courtroom. Please park on side streets legally.

Directions to the 4x4 Beach access.

Traveling from the Public Safety Building. Head North approximately 8 blocks to Brighton Ave. Make a right turn onto Brighton Ave and go east (1 block) until you see the ramp for beach access. Air down to 15lbs of pressure in tires and enter beach access. Be careful of sun bathers and pedestrians.

Directions for Air Pump and Gasoline.

Coming from the Brighton Beach Access.  Go west 1 block to Central Ave. Make a left turns onto Central Ave, traveling South. Go around Public Safety Building, continuing on Central Ave. Mobil gas station is on the left side. Pumps are located on the right of the garage. The air is free at this time, but if gasoline is needed, please patronize him with a fill up.
