Both of us caught approximately the same number aof fish which included 3 large seabass,10 giant porgies, 3 ling, and 3 large eels(over 5 ft) which were released. In addition Walter caught a whiting which amazed mates and captain as this fish had not been seen in our waters for many years, and Marvin caught an 18.0 lb. 35 inch long pollock which hit with such force that at first it was thought the line was caught on the bottom and then put on a terrific non stop battle as it was brought up from a depth of 200 ft..

HRFA did well in this contest as it caught 25/30 lb., 50/55 lb, and 80.5 lb. drumfish with the latter two being the largest brought aboard.
